The Rank Group, which owns the largest casino brand in the UK, Grosvenor Casinos, has signed a new ten-year lease to remain at Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

The Grosvenor Casino in Coventry at Ricoh Arena, once known as Isle of Capri Casino, is a popular venue for gamblers seeking thrilling poker tournaments. With its monthly Goliath, poker fans would be amazed with the array of amenities offered at Ricoh from the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel to the vast space for holding big events. On 25 March 2011, Grosvenor Casinos announced they were to host new poker event called the Goliath. Designed to attract up to 1,500 players, the Goliath had an initial buy-in at £100 + £20 and offered a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000, with 25% of the registration fee going to the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.

Grosvenor Casinos, which operates 52 casinos, has been based at Ricoh Arena since 2009 when it took over the casino site and invested £1.6 million in the venue. The company has now put pen to paper on a new decade-long deal.
